Brief Introduction

This project contains design recommendations for package delivery problems to condominium residents.

Problem

The inconvenience of package delivery is a common issue at most of the condominiums in GTA. Especially during the pandemic, the package delivery service needs to pay more attention to the sanitation problem. Based on our observations, except for the problem of keeping social distance with each other during waiting, some residents have to spend some time to receive their package from the concierge due to five issues:

• The residents checked with the security to ensure the package belongs to them.
• The security was interrupted due to a phone call or residents' requests when picking up the package.
• The security and the residents could not hear each other clearly due to the mask.
• The security went away.
• The package information was not entered into the system in time by the security.

Goal

Hence, we aim on designing a safe, touchless and convenient locker system to minimize the contact between staff and the residents to decrease the risk of transmission of infection, decrease the package picking up time and offer convenience to residents and the concierge.

Role

• Analyzed the observed the data to identify the user pain points and design requirements
• Created high fidelity mock-ups for the UI
• Created a functional prototype through Figma
